- July 18th -

Hotel Location: Grenoble –  Alps

Tour Stage 15  /   Gap  - Alpe d'Huez  /  187km (117 miles)

Beloki, Armstrong, Mayo, Hamilton (2003)

The serious Alpine stages start today for the racers. On the menu today ; col d'Izoard - col du Lautaret and... Alpe d'Huez!

This is an exciting day and we have planned exciting things... We will bus out early to avoid the huge traffic and use our “secret” way up Alpe d’Huez.

From there we will get to the resort of Alpe d'Huez and make our way to our Chalet located on switchback #2 (second to last switchback). The views from this location are second to none anywhere on the climb to Alpe d'Huez. We will be able to see from the Village of Huez up to our location.  We will also have lunch at the Chalet.

Once the stage is over we will return to our hotel in Grenoble the evening. Group dinner this evening

- July 19th -

Hotel Location: Grenoble –  Alps

Tour Stage 16  /   Bourg d'Oisans  - La Toussuire  /  182km (113.5 miles)

We’ll be viewing the start of today’s stage. Starts offer great opportunities for pictures and to mingle with the teams and racers warming up (autographs as well?)

The evening will then be spent in Grenoble again, so there will be some time to wander around town. Dinner on your own this evening.

- July 20th  -

Hotel location: Burgundy

Tour Stage 17  /   Saint Jean de Maurienne - Morzine  /  199km (124 miles)

An exciting day is ahead. Leaving the hotel fairly early, we will bus out to catch a helicopter to transfer to the top of the col de la Madeleine where we will be viewing the race from. There will be polka-dot jersey points to be had at the top of this grueling climb.

Once the race has gone by, we will transfer off of the mountain by helicopter as well. Once everyone is back at the bus, we will then make the (sizeable) transfer to the Burgundy region. There is a bit of a drive, but that is the price to pay for spending 3 nights in the same hotel during the Tour!

Our hotel in beautiful Burgundy region will be home for the next 3 nights as well. Group dinner this evening.

- July 21st -

Hotel location: Burgundy

Tour Stage 18  /   Morzine  - Macon  /  193km (120.5 miles)

We’ll be taking a break from the Tour today to enjoy some of the Burgundy region in the morning, we will then have a great lunch with wine tasting followed by an afternoon discovering beautiful Beaune.

Dinner will be on your own this evening!

- July 22nd -

Hotel location: Burgundy

Individual Time Trial

Tour Stage 19  /  Le Creusot   -  Montceau les Mines  /  56km (35 miles)

The final and possibly quite important time trial will likely start around late morning and we will plan on spending the better part of the day at the time trial.

We’ll spend a final evening in our hotel and have a group dinner this evening.

- July 23rd -

Hotel location: Paris

Tour Stage 20  /   Anthony - Paris Champs-Elysees   /  152km (95 miles)

This is what every professional cyclist aspires to; the arrival of the Tour de France on the Champs-Elysees!

Who will succeed to lance Armstrong? Will it be one of the favorites - Ullrich, Basso, Vinokourov, etc, or will someone else have the honor? We will find out today. But first, a morning bullet train will take us from Dijon to Paris.

Once in Paris, we will go to the Champs Elysees to watch the arrival from our viewing suites overlooking the avenue. We will be able to watch the start of the race on TV as it enters Paris while celebrating and catching the mood of the immense crowd below.

Once the Tour festivities are over, we will get ready for a great dining experience. This year again we will be renting an entire boat for our dinner-cruise along the Seine river. Great food and unbelievable sight-seeing of Paris by night will end our “sensory overloaded day”!!!

Our 4 Star hotel is located within walking distance of the Champs Elysees, our viewing suites and the dinner cruise.
