CUSTOM TRIPS

Throughout July - You pick the dates.

If you wish to go to the Tour de France, but do not want to be part of a group tour or do not wish to ride these trips are just the ticket!

We have sent hundreds of people on self guided trips to the Tour de France and of all these trips, almost no 2 were alike.

Some of the requests were from:
- Individuals who are cycling fans and want to be there for every stage
- Individuals who are cycling fans and want to ride every day and view the Tour
- Couples
- Families
- Groups of friends
- Cycling clubs
- Companies sending employees on Incentive trips
- Travel Agents who want professionals to handle all the arrangements for their clients

These trips are quite popular, and because each is different we can only work on so many projects. Please inquire early to make sure we can satisfy your request. We have started taking registrations and have many return guests who have expressed interest in setting up a trip for 2007.

Registrations:
We are now accepting registrations for our 2007 Trips. All places are on a first come first serve basis. A deposit is required to reserve a spot. If places are still available when we receive your application along with deposit, you will receive notification of your registration. If the trip is sold out, you will be given the option to be placed on a waiting list. Waitlist order is on a first come first serve basis as well. Please email us to receive a registration form our complete reservation procedure: info@customgetaways.com

What Can be arranged?

We have handled many different requests and can set up a trip for just a few days, the entirety of the Tour, have you see the Tour every day, do a mix of Tour viewing and site seeing. Some clients ask us to organize something different. This can be: following the Tour by motorcycle, hot-air balloon rides, wine tasting and cycling through the wine country, Horse-back riding, Helicopter transfers to and from stages, having a rental house for one or two weeks and setting up day trips to see the Tour, cooking classes, etc, etc, etc...

The staff preparing these trips combines over 40 years of living in France + numerous weeks of traveling in France every year. We know people throughout France and know the best places, regions and fun things to do. Our specialty is FRANCE and we invite you to challenge us with your request.

If you are interested in having us prepare a quote and sample itinerary, we will need to know the following information:
- Dates of your trip.
- Number of people going and composition of group (# of adults, children, couples, singles)?
- Do you plan on riding or not? If so what daily mileage?
- What are your expectations for this trip? What do you want to see and do?
- are standard transmissions cars (stick shift) OK for you to drive?
- Do you have a particular budget in mind?
- What type of accommodations are you looking for (moderate, average, upper end)

With this information, we will be able to start a trip schedule for you and can work on the details with you as we go along.
